We recently introduced the SLEEP Portable Solar Energy Station. This Portable Solar Energy Station is mounted to a heavy duty wheeled cart and can be quickly set up and deployed as a stand alone power station. It is ideal for emergency power stations, recreational events, promotional events, etc. This provides clean quiet energy on a temporary or long term basis.
The SLEEP Portable Solar Energy Station includes a configurable combination of 80W Solar Panels and 100Ah AGM batteries. Other options include a 1500W Modified Sine Wave Inverter or a 600W or 1000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter.
SLEEP 2P2B Portable Solar Energy Station
2 Solar Panel by 2 Battery, 30A Digital Charge Controller, and 1500 Modified Sine Wave Inverter. This system provides 160W of Solar Energy and 200Ah of Battery storage.
SLEEP 2P3B Portable Solar Energy Station
2 Solar Panel by 3 Battery, 30A Digital Charge Controller, and 1500 Modified Sine Wave Inverter (model shown in the picture). This system provides 160W of Solar Energy and 300Ah of Battery storage.
SLEEP Portable Solar Energy Station Power Capabilities
Power Capabilities are shown below for two standard configurations with options for heavy usage for an event for part of a day or ongoing daily use indefinitely. Expected continuous power and Depth of Discharge (DOD) are shown.
SLEEP 2P2B Portable Solar Energy Station
1.) 425W (33A) continuous for a 4 hour event (DOD 50%, w/recovery of 2 days)
2.) 230W (18A) continuous for an 8 hour event (DOD 50%, w/recovery of 2 days)
3.) 115W (9A) for 8 hours per day indefinitely (no overnight DOD, 100Ah (50% DOD) reserve for days without sun or short term heavier usage)
3.) 35W (2.75A) continuous 24 hours per day indefinitely (overnight DOD 20%, w/recovery daily)*
*Note that this 35W capability, although a relatively small amount of energy, is what I use daily in my trailer which powers the following: 45 quart freezer running 24 hours per day at a temperature of 10 degrees, Fantastic thermostatic controlled vent fan for 8-12 hours per day, Microwave oven with evening use for up to 20 minutes, regular use of HD TV, HD Radio, DVD player, GPS unit, Ham radio equipment, LED lighting, Rechargeable NiMH batteries, a full set of 18V Lithium Ion Power Tools, etc. (the bottom line is that I run everything 100% off grid with Solar Energy with this 2P2B configuration).

1.) 575W (45A) continuous for a 4 hour event (DOD 50%, w/recovery of 3 days)
2.) 310W (24A continuous for an 8 hour event (DOD 50%, w/recovery of 3 days)
3.) 115W (9A) for 8 hours per day indefinitely (no overnight DOD, 150Ah (50% DOD) reserve for days without sun or short term heavier usage)
3.) 35W (2.75A) continuous 24 hours per day indefinitely (overnight DOD 15%, w/recovery daily)
The SLEEP Portable Solar Energy Stations are all configurable any combination of 1, 2, or 3 80W Solar Panels and 1, 2 or 3 100Ah Battery units*. Each system is designed to be easily reconfigured for any combination of Solar Panels and Batteries available to the customer. SLEEP also sells individual 80W Solar Panels ($529 including Molex cables) and Battery units ($449 including battery box with cables, circuit breaker, DC socket, etc.) to upgrade any SLEEP Portable Solar Energy Station with up to 3 Solar Panels and 3 Batteries.
